An update on health and safety at our centres
With the Government announcing the easing of restrictions across the UK from today, 19 July 2021 and further changes to isolation rules from 16 August, we would like to share how we will be continuing to prioritise the health, safety and well-being of our patients, partners and staff.
It is clear that COVID-19 will continue to play a role in the healthcare landscape for some time to come, and infection rates will continue to fluctuate across the country. Given the unpredictability of the infection and our duty of care to each other and our patients, as a healthcare provider, we will be taking a conservative and cautious approach to the changes in lockdown rules.
Over the course of the pandemic, we have put in place rigorous health and safety procedures and we will continue to maintain the current ways of working. This will include:
- Maintaining social distancing throughout centres and in waiting areas
- Wearing of PPE
- Adopting strict hand hygiene
- Temperature screening for patients visiting our centres and sites
- Enhanced cleaning
We will continue to review all procedures and any further changes will be in line with the guidance provided by Public Health England.
Although the wearing of masks is no longer mandatory, we kindly request patients continue to wear these when on-site and they follow our best practice approach.
