About us
Medical Imaging Partnership was founded in 2010 by consultant radiologists who believed the quality of a diagnostic service is determined not by the scanner, but by the people behind it. We deliver imaging for NHS patients, people with private medical insurance and those who choose to pay for themselves, through community diagnostic centres, mobile units and clinical partnerships.
Both brands scan private and self-pay patients. The difference is what each one offers: Medical Imaging Partnership is diagnostic imaging at our own centres, and Prime Health adds a private GP, physiotherapy and health assessments alongside the scans, with the same specialist radiologists reporting for both.
Our founder, Dr Ian Francis, remains with the group as Strategic Clinical Advisor. The group also includes Prime Health Diagnostics Ltd, the company behind Prime Health, and 3T Leasing Limited. Apposite Capital is our majority shareholder.
