Making a booking for a diagnostic scan or treatment at Medical Imaging Partnership

If you are using private health insurance for diagnostic imaging then your insurance company will provide you with a pre-authorisation code. This can be given to us at the time of booking and there will be no need to pay anything on the day.

If you are self-funding for your appointment, charges will be discussed with you at the point of your enquiry and payments will be taken via World-Pay links or over the telephone prior to your consultation.

With regards to specific diagnostic imaging referrals, only a doctor or appropriately qualified clinician (IRMER accredited) can refer you for an x-ray because it requires you to be exposed to radiation.

Paying for treatment at Medical Imaging Partnership

If your treatment is covered by private health insurance, Medical Imaging Partnership will liaise directly with your insurance company if you don’t have a pre-authorisation.

If you are paying for your scan or treatment yourself we are able to take payment from all credit and debit cards at our centres except American Express. We also accept payment in cash and by cheque.
