Celebrating Allied Health Professions Day 2020
Despite our name, we don’t only offer a first-class imaging service. We work closely with some of the UK’s best consultants and Allied Health Professionals to offer our patients access to best-in-class expertise, diagnostic technologies and rehabilitation therapies.
To celebrate the skills and expertise these healthcare professions provide, on 14 October 2020, Medical Imaging Partnership and it’s network of UK-wide diagnostic centres and clinics will celebrate Allied Health Professions Day (AHP Day).
A social movement spearheaded by NHS England, Allied Health Professions Day brings together healthcare services, organisations and regions across the UK to celebrate, appreciate, connect and inspire the 14 allied health professions (AHP) including chiropodists and podiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners, osteopaths, physiotherapists and radiographers.
How are we celebrating Allied Health Professions Day?
Bringing together the themes of the day of “celebrate, appreciate, inspire, connect”, Medical Imaging Partnership invited AHPs from across their network to film and share a 15-30 second video answering the following question:
“What aspect of your job gives you the most satisfaction?”
The videos shared were used to create a compilation video which help showcase the passion of the AHPs who work with us. The final video, which features clips from Ele King, Sports Massage Therapist, Rush Savla, Physiotherapist and Gary Riley, Osteopath will be shown on 14 October 2020 and be shared across Medical Imaging Partnership’s Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.
We hope that the inspiring words from our AHPs will connect and inspire our followers, and collectively re-enforce the compassion, care and drive all our AHPs aim to provide with every patient we work with.
