The Health Investor awards, which were held at an exclusive gala ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, recognised outstanding achievements, innovation and excellence in the independent healthcare sector and with 181 finalists this year’s competition was fierce.
The judges were looking for organisations and individuals that had made an outstanding contribution to healthcare between March 2020 – March 2021. Given the extraordinary challenges a global pandemic has placed on the healthcare sector during this period, it was with no small amount of pride in our people, their efforts and diligence in supporting our patients, that we accepted the award.
During this time our teams worked together to maintain services in support of our patients, overcoming obstacles that ranged from practical matters of social distancing through to technical solutions for remote consultations and patient support. At every turn the team found new solutions to the problems presented to them and, because every person mattered, without faltering, they prioritised the needs of almost 40,000 patients during the pandemic period that might otherwise have had delays to their treatment pathway.
CEO, Andrew Lennox thanked Medical Imaging Partnership staff for all they have achieved and said: “This is a huge industry wide recognition of the work that everyone has done in the past two years, and an accolade not easily won.
“It has been a very hard few years, none more than the past two – but I am so pleased that what you are doing and the excellence you bring is recognised externally by our peers, competitors, and the wider industry.”
